Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) is a UK government-backed, annual certification providing verified assurance of cybersecurity against common threats. Unlike the self-assessment CE, CE+ involves independent, onsite, or remote technical audits, including vulnerability scans on sampled systems. It confirms implementation of five core controls: firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection, and patch management.
