Over the time that we have been working together, I have always found the team to be adaptable to requests for changes to the workload we provide them. For instance, when we had a need to include maternity cases into their workload, the team were more than willing to take on this work, which enabled us to reduce the backlog in this specialty. The team are also adaptable to the changes in the quantity of work we provide in order to manage our backlog. The team are reliable and complete the work which we have agreed with them.
An advantage has been that the team that originally began supporting us has remained in-tact and they are now very experienced in our systems, policies, and procedures for coding.
Regarding the quality of work this is generally very good. On occasions when there are inaccuracies I have always found the team willing to discuss and to correct the coding promptly where appropriate.

Becky came to UHL to complete two Refresher courses for the team. Becky's in-depth knowledge along with her ability to explain in an engaging manner made this an enjoyable course for the coders. They felt completely supported and able to ask as many questions and request clarification as often as necessary and never felt rushed. Becky was very clear and engaging throughout the course and it was extremely well managed. The pace of the course was very good, everything was explained fully and clearly and was repeated if it was necessary.
